WWE has announced a Fastlane preview show, hosted by Cathy Kelley, will be taking place Sunday afternoon before the PPV:
The stakes will be high at WWE Fastlane this Sunday with SmackDown LIVE’s Superstars looking to secure their places at WrestleMania. Hours before the show kicks into high gear, The New Day and Dolph Ziggler will join a live WWE Now preview of the event, hosted by Renee Young and Cathy Kelley.
You won’t want to miss The New Day’s comments about their WWE Fastlane opponents — SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos — or Dolph Ziggler’s final thoughts before the WWE Championship Six-Pack Challenge. Catch the live stream this Sunday at 3 ET/noon PT on Facebook and YouTube.
WWE On John Cena Possibly Landing TV Show Reboot Role
WWE.com has published the following on John Cena possibly landing the role of show host for the “Blue’s Clues” reboot:
Cena’s gonna play “Blue’s Clues,” because it’s really fun.
OK, we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves here, but after seeing a photo of 16-time World Champion John Cena in an apparent audition to be the human star of Nickelodeon’s forthcoming “Blue’s Clues” reboot, we can’t help but imagine the possibilities.
The photo of Cena — clad in in the signature green striped shirt and khaki pants of the series’ original host, Steve— was tweeted by Adweek senior editor Jason Lynch.
“Blue’s Clues,” originally launched on Nick Jr. in 1996, took its young viewers on educational scavenger hunts featuring a live-action host and an animated puppy, Blue.
If he got the gig, Cena would be running said scavenger hunts on the new show, but that could prove difficult for The Cenation Leader. He himself can’t be seen, after all.
Cena will host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon.
