— Maria Kanellis revealed on Instagram that she is preparing to return to wrestling after having given birth to a baby in April. Kanellis indicated that at the beginning of August she will head to Florida to start training at the WWE Performance Center.

— Dean Ambrose was spotted in Birmingham, AL rehabbing his surgically repaired triceps. Ambrose was initially expected to be back this summer, but reports now suggest that he will be out for another couple of months, causing him to miss SummerSlam. One idea/rumor that was being tossed around for Ambrose a few months ago was for him to turn heel quickly upon returning in order to feud with Seth Rollins but it is unclear if that is still the plan.
