The trailer for the new film “Girl on the Third Floor” starring Phil “CM Punk” Brooks has touched down.
The Dark Sky Films YouTube page and Facebook page released updates on the movie on Wednesday, which included the release of the first official trailer.
Brooks, a former WWE Superstar and 0-2 UFC fighter, plays the lead role in the film, which has received a perfect 100-percent approval rating from the first 13-critics at RottenTomatoes.com.
The official synopsis for the movie reads as follows:
“At the heart of the film is Don Koch (CM Punk), a man who is failing as a husband. For years he has skated by on charm and charisma, until it nearly landed him in jail. He now views fixing up an old house as a chance to make up for past mistakes. Meanwhile, his wife, Liz Koch, is concerned about the renovation timeline as they have a baby on the way. With all this pressure it’s no wonder Don responds to the flirtations of an attractive stranger. As Don tears the house apart, it begins to tear him apart as well, revealing the rot behind the drywall.”
According to the Rotten Tomatoes listing, “Girl on the Third Floor” starring Phil “CM Punk” Brooks is scheduled for a limited theater release on October 25, 2019.
The official Facebook page for the film states that release information will be coming “real soon.”
