Torino increase offer to €9m for Lorient’s Armand Laurienté

According to RMC Sport’s Loïc Tanzi, Torino have increased their bid to purchase Lorient striker Armand Laurienté (23) up to €9m with bonuses included. Whilst Lorient still retain the player, club president Löice Féry is expected to make a counter-proposal to the Italian side.

Laurienté is under contract until the end of the 2023/24 season, but is also among the players who will be granted a transfer this summer away from Les Merlus.

Other outlets reported yesterday that Torino have upped their offer to €8m, which now looks likely increased to €9m including bonuses. This comes after the Granata had submitted a initial offer worth €5m which was rejected by Lorient.

The striker netted six goals and provided two assists last season to help Lorient avoid relegation from Ligue 1. He has been at the club since 2020 since a move from Rennes. The player has 88 total appearances for Les Merlus in which he has scored 12 and provided 12 assists.
