Supreme announces collab with Jean Paul Gaultier

Of all the streetwear brands there are on the market, no one does it
quite like Supreme. This time, the brand is collaborating with luxury
designer Jean Paul Gaultier for its next collection. The New York-based
skate and street brand, which boasts a regular occurrence of lines out the
door and around the block, took to Instagram to make the announcement of
its latest partnership. In addition, the brand resells for over 12 times to
original retail price on Supreme-branded items such as hoodies,
skateboards, hats, stickers, or pens.

Though Supreme has had the occasional collaboration in the past, this is
the latest in a handful of high-end designers, the most recent being with
Louis Vuitton. The iconic French designer has been known for his
gender-bending avant-garde designs, going against the grain of the industry
since his earlier years. As a skate and street company that has created its
brand based on the idea of not conforming to the norm, this partnership
with Jean Paul Gaultier seems to be a natural one.
