State champion Garret Hoffner of Mahnomen/Waubun has verbally committed MSU-Moorhead for next season.
Hoffner is a three-time state place winner and six-time state entrant. He won the Class A 152 pound state championship this year as a senior. Hoffner placed 6th at 145 pounds as a junior and 5th at 140 pounds as a sophomore.
Hoffner is projected to wrestle at 157 pounds in college.
