A major change has been made to the upcoming men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, set to take place this weekend at WWE’s annual, titular pay-per-view event. WARNING: THIS REPORT CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR TONIGHT’S EPISODE OF RAW!
At today’s WWE Raw television taping in London, England a singles match was booked between Sami Zayn and the “Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. Per the orders of Shane McMahon, if Sami was able to defeat the super heavyweight brute, he would take his place in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
After interference from both Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre, who will also compete in the upcoming ladder match, as well as a steel chair, Sami Zayn was actually able to defeat the Monster and take his place in the bout. The three stars will join Ricochet, Mustafa Ali, Andrade, Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor.
