Three Minnesota Storm wrestlers competing
FILA, the international wrestling federation, has announced the pairings by session for the 2014 Greco-Roman World Cup, set for Tehran, Iran, May 15-16.
The United States is in Group A, along with Russia, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Turkey. Group A competition will be held on Thursday.
The USA opens with Turkey, who was No. 7 in the World in 2013, in round one. Next up will be Hungary, No. 3 in the world, in round two. Team USA has a bye in round three. In round four, the USA faces World Team champion Russia. Team USA closes out Group A competition on Thursday with No. 6 Kazakhstan in round five. Continue reading at www.teamusa.org
