Roman Reigns Denies Recent Allegations, James Storm on WWE

Potentially devastating news rose recently when it was revealed that current Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns has been named as a client by a convicted steroid distributor. The distributor, Richard Rodriguez, claimed that Reigns has ties to his distribution ring during a recent interview as part of Jon Bravo. In addition to one of WWE’s top stars being named, Rodriguez also claims that actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel were receiving steroids from him as well. Several questions about the alleged issues have risen ever since the video was released, and now “The Big Dog” himself has decided to address the controversy.
Roman Reigns recently provided a statement on the matter to Pro Wrestling Sheet. He said, “I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it.” The Wellness Fitness Nutrition that Reigns is referring to is Rodriguez’ faux company in Miami, which was infiltrated by the DEA a few months ago. Reigns also went on to note that he has passed eleven of WWE’s wellness tests. WWE still has yet to address the issue themselves as of right now, but that may be about to change very soon. Roman Reigns will be defending the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz on the 25th anniversary edition of Raw this Monday night.
Several top Impact Wrestling stars recently departed the company. Most of those performers will reportedly be joining WWE eventually, but one wrestler who has been left out of those conversations has been James Storm. Storm competed in Impact for years before leaving the company for good late last year. He did not mince words when asked about a possible WWE run at some point by Sports Illustrated. He outright stated that his ultimate goal is to end up in WWE. “When I left Impact, I told people this isn’t my last stop, it’s just time for me to get on a new horse.” Storm said. With Storm getting older, and since he wants to join the company now more than ever, this seems like the perfect opportunity to sign Storm to a deal as soon as possible.
