EVOLVE Wrestling may not be working with Impact Wrestling anymore, but the promotion still has an incredibly talented roster, as well as the benefit of being closely allied with WWE. Through the working relationship that EVOLVE has with WWE, numerous NXT Superstars have been brought in to compete for the promotion over the years. In fact, current NXT Superstars The Street Profits recently won the EVOLVE Tag Team Championships while Fabian Aichner also captured the EVOLVE Championship. It has certainly been an exciting few months for EVOLVE Wrestling. Meanwhile, it looks like Undisputed Era member and current NXT Tag Team Champion, Roderick Strong, is feeling a bit left out right now.
Thought of the day- NXT Superstars holding #EVOLVE titles? Well there are no bigger Superstars than the #UndisputedERA and I’ve won just about every @WWNLive title but the #EVOLVE title. So Maybe Dec. 15th I come to La Boom and #ShocktheSystem? #OurERA

Strong recently noted on Twitter that he has managed to win every single championship in EVOLVE except for the promotion’s main title. He even teased coming over to the promotion soon to challenge Aichner for the championship. Roderick Strong is now demanding that the match take place during the EVOLVE 117 show in Queens, New York on December 15th. Gabe Sapolsky has since insinuated on social media that Roddy will indeed be part of the event this month. Strong’s sudden involvement in EVOLVE 117 comes just days after Impact Wrestling pulled LAX from the event. In addition to Aichner, Strong, and The Street Profits, NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno will also be competing on the card that evening.
Looks like I have some calls to make…. https://t.co/x2Eh4yRcdE

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Duggan was in the news not too long ago after it was confirmed that he had been hospitalized. Duggan was in the hospital surrounded by family members over the week of Thanksgiving for an undisclosed illness. Fortunately, Duggan was released from the ICU a couple of days ago. TMZ Sports caught up with Duggan yesterday to get an update on his health. Duggan’s health scare had to do with some irregularities in his heart that caused it to go into AFib. “Hacksaw” says that he has received a ton of support from fans and friends in the pro wrestling business. Jim Duggan’s main goal now is to overcome his health issues in order to continue supporting his wife and two daughters.
