R-Truth Shows Graphic Injury Photos, AJ Lee/WWE Evolution, More

– A new poll on the official WWE website has fans choosing which former Superstar they would prefer to see return to the ring in October for the all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view. AJ Lee leads the poll, receiving 65% of the votes as of this writing, while 6% voted for Stacy Keibler, 6% voted for WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, 4% for Michelle McCool, 4% for Kelly Kelly, 3% for Molly Holly, 3% for Torrie Wilson, 2% for WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze, 2% for Layla, 2% for Summer Rae, 2% for Eve Torres and 1% for WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline. – This week’s SmackDown Live saw the return of R-Truth who was defeated by Samoa Joe in singles competition. This was Truth’s first match since August 2017, outside of his appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. As noted, Truth suffered a severe shoulder injury during a match with Elias. Truth took to Instagram this week to share graphic photos from his injury that led him to undergo two different surgeries to repair his shoulder. He wrote, “This is the amount of floating bone that was removed from my shoulder.” Check out the photos below.
