Queer Eye seasons four and five are en route to our screens and in the words of the very fabulous Jonathan Van Ness, “Can you believe?”
Netflix made the announcement that they have picked up the heartwarming, uplifting, life makeover show for another two seasons via press release. And if that news has made you feel like squealing and crying (tears of joy, of course!) all at once, there’s no judgement coming your way — just hugs, support and warm vibes, especially from the Fab Five.
The streamer has confirmed our favourite quintet of Bobby Berk (interiors), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming), Tan France (fashion), Karamo Brown (culture) and Antoni Porowski (food and wine), will be back on our screens and in our lives for at least two more seasons, with season four dropping as soon as July.
Here, we round up everything we know so far about Queer Eye seasons four and five.
Yes. According to a press statement from Netflix the Fab Five — Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo and Tan — are all back on board for the next two seasons.
Netflix has announced season four of Queer Eye will launch globally on their platform on July 19, 2019. All episodes of the season will be available to binge-watch on that date.
The streamer also revealed that season five has been ordered and production will commence on that season on June 24, 2019. Season five is slated to premiere in 2020, there’s no date as yet, but check back here, we’ll update this story when more details become available.
According to Netflix, season four will return to Kansas City, Missouri — the same location of season three — where presumably a whole new set of lucky people will have the Fab Fave life-over treatment.
Season five will be, according to Netflix, in Philadelphia.
No official trailer yet, but Queer Eye’s official Instagram account has a cute, short video announcing season four.
Seasons one, two and three were all eight-episode seasons, so we’re guessing seasons four and five will follow this number.
