L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Nîmes are imminently set to conclude two signings to bolster their central midfield ranks.
The first is 21-year-old Ligue 2 sensation Lamine Fomba, who has been chased by a myriad of top flight sides, but is set to conclude a medical with Les Crocos tomorrow ahead of a €4m transfer from Auxerre. He is set to sign a 4-year contract with Nîmes.
He should shortly be followed by 30-year-old Ligue 1 veteran midfielder Lucas Deaux, who is currently at Ligue 2 club Guingamp, in a deal that will cost somewhere between €500k and €1m. EAG had been hoping to hold on to the player, but he has already agreed a 2-year provisional contract with Les Crocos and has been pushing for the move.
