WWE will no doubt be planning more matches and storylines involving Asuka and Charlotte now that they are both on the same show, but according to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio, it is likely not expected to happen right away because both are babyfaces. Meltzer also added that the plan for a while will be for the three top babyfaces on SmackDown which are Asuka, Charlotte and Becky Lynch to be in a program with Peyton Royce, Billy Kay and Carmella.
It was previously reported that Big Cass is in line for a push now that he is in SmackDown Live. Another wrestler in line for a push on SmackDown Live is new United States Champion Jeff Hardy, who now has a clearer path to a top babyface role. Hardy has been someone WWE Officials have long viewed more as a singles star rather than a tag team competitor so it was only a matter time before he was pushed. The DWI charge appears to be a complete non-issue for the company and there is a chance that Hardy will be the top three babyface on SmackDown Live, behind only AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
