It was reported yesterday that WWE’s Crown Jewel event is in serious jeopardy. Criticism over the show’s location in Saudi Arabia has led to the company reportedly scrambling to find a new venue for the show. Given the deal that WWE made with Saudi Arabia earlier this year, the company has been adamantly against cancelling the show, but following new reports suggesting that John Cena will not be working the show, it appears that officials may really be considering changing the location of the event. WWE is expected to announce whether or not the show will remain in Saudi Arabia at some point later on today, but the decision that the company will make may have already been leaked early.
According to the New Age Insiders, WWE will indeed be moving Crown Jewel away from Saudi Arabia. In fact, the show even supposedly has a new venue selected in Albany, New York. Tickets for Crown Jewel have not gone on sale, but the report mentions that tickets for the US version of the show will be going on sale towards the end of the week. WWE has been facing pressure to end their relationship with Saudi Arabia following the recent death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which the nation may have had a hand in executing. As mentioned earlier, WWE’s decision on the location of Crown Jewel will likely be confirmed today. With each passing day, it definitely seems more and more likely that the Saudi Arabia event will be cancelled.

Joey Janela had been taking the independent wrestling circuit by storm and winning over fans with his unique character. He also had a breakout performance at the All In event back in September, but unfortunately, he is now expected to miss about a year of in-ring action due to a torn PCL and MCL, as well as a sprained ACL, all of which he received during a match at a Game Changer Wrestling event a little while back. Janela confirmed that he will be having surgery for the injuries, and he just informed his fans that he is now set to undergo the major knee surgery operation this Friday. Despite the devastating injury, Janela will still be running LA Confidential, which is set to take place on November 16th.
Surgery confirmed Friday, let the fun begin!!!
