L’Équipe report tonight that Maxwel Cornet has completed his medical and is set to wrap up a permanent transfer to Premier League side Burnley.
The Ivorian’s move from Lyon is expected to be made official tomorrow, with the transfer fee set at €17m. The 24-year-old is expected to fly out to England to sign his contract tonight.

The Ivory Coast international leaves Lyon after six years at the club, having initially joined from Metz, in which he made more than 250 appearances in a range of positions – from forward to left-back – and scored 51 goals.
