As reported by Foot Mercato, Marseille are on the verge of loaning out young Brazilian attacker Luis Henrique.
The 20-year-old has struggled to settle in France since his €8m move from Botafogo in September 2020, making 38 senior appearances in that time, many of them off the bench.
It’s understood that the loan deal would be until the end of the season and that OM have already received interest in the player who’s looking for more game time. Belgian club Genk and Fiorentina of Serie A in Italy have both expressed a desire to sign the player as have multiple Brazilian clubs. This includes the player’s former club, Botafogo, who had also been keen to loan the player back last summer.
It’s likely Marseille will be looking for a replacement should the Brazilian leave to maintain squad depth.
