Join us in 2021!
Given the current uncertainty about the Coronavirus Pandemic, PCB Race Management has decided to postpone the Last Almost Annual Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub Almost Five Miler to a date to be determined in May 2021. We intend to finalize the date in the very near future and will let you know.
We considered a number of options from outright cancellation, to conducting a bare-bones race bereft of the assorted jollifications that are the hallmark of this event, to postponing the race to August or sometime in the fall. Given the uncertainly about the duration of the pandemic, we decided that the most prudent course is to postpone the race to next May. We have been assured by Fitz and Michelle at New England Runner that Liam’s will continue to be a Pub Series Race!
Because you have already signed up for Liam’s and because the race is postponed, your registration will be valid for next year’s event. You will not have to reregister, but we will make you a year older!
For the time being, we are suspending registration and will reopen it in early January, 2021. Once we have settled on a date in May 2021, we will let you know and will detail our policy for refunds in the event that you can’t run Liam’s on the date we select.
We cannot emphasize enough how disappointed we are that we had to take this step, but the safety and well-being of all our participants and volunteers has to come first.
We will let you know next year’s date in the very near future!
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones and stay safe!
Regards,
Russ Pelletier (P), Jack Carroll (C), and Court Bird (B)
