Laurent Koscielny open to finishing career at FC Lorient

Speaking to Le Télégramme, Bordeaux central defender Laurent Koscielny revealed that his contract was actually only three years long, not five years, and that he would be open to moving to FC Lorient to finish his career.

“I have a year and a half left on my contract. We are first going to go to the end of that one. And after, we will see. As I have been able to see in the past, in a career, there are risks. I am 35 and I have a contract. If I am able to do a career like Hilton, who is still playing at 43, maybe I will have it in me to do another season with FC Lorient. That gives me another 8 years (laughs)! You never know… But, for now, I am not thinking that far forward. I am trying to bring as much as I can bring to Bordeaux. We will see what happens next.”
