Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler List Their Chicago Home for $4.7 Million

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are officially cutting ties with Chicago.

The Hills vet and her quarterback husband, who was recently released by the Chicago Bears, announced in March that they are relocating from the Windy City to Nashville. Now, the couple has put the moving process in motion, with Trulia reporting that they’ve has listed their seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home for $4.75 million.

The price tag has increased slightly since they picked up the palatial pad in 2014 for $4.25, according to the Chicago Tribune. Located near Lake Michigan and coming in at 11,000 square feet, the house offered more than enough room for the family—which includes Cavallari and Cutler’s three children, Camden, 4, Jaxon, 2, and Saylor, 1. The castle-like mansion also boasts an indoor basketball court, theater room, and wine cellar.

Cavallari has frequently shared photos of the home on her Instagram, most often showing off the bright, white kitchen that boasts a marble island, dual fridges, double ovens and plenty of counter space. The cabinetry is also apparently very sturdy, as evidenced by the photo below of the 6’3″ NFL star perched atop it.

Five fireplaces, hardwood floors, and a grand spiral staircase can be found elsewhere in the house, offering a plethora of spots to stop and take a selfie.

Outdoor space is in no short supply: the house sits on 1.5 acres of land. A three-car garage, large driveway, screen porch and access to a beach path are just a few of the exterior amenities.

Cavallari admits she’s had a love-hate relationship with Chicago, initially anxious about being so far from the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. When she announced the move via Instagram, however, she noted Chicago had become her home, writing “I’m really gonna miss this place.”

“I definitely am sad,” Cavallari told People in April, but the couple is excited for their new home, planning to make Music City their permanent hub.

“Knowing that we’re going to be there for a very long time, if not forever, is a very exciting thing for me because my life is so hectic and so crazy that having a permanent home base is very comforting to me,” she says.
