Weeks after the deadly Nipah Virus gripped Kerala, here’s a good news for people.The fears of a second wave of Nipah Virus outbreakis unfounded, the government has reassured after no new cases of infection or deaths have been reported from any parts of the state.
According to the Kerala Health Department, the last case tested positive for Nipah Virus infection was reported on May 17.

Kerala Health Minister KK Shylaja said that the fear about the second phase of Nipah Virus infection have been allayed. She, however, said that vigilance will continue until June 30 and the disease can be said to be under control only after that.
