Speaking to reporters in the mixed zone following PSG’s 2-0 victory over Marseille last night, Julian Draxler was asked to comment on manager Thomas Tuchel’s decision to sanction Kylian Mbappé & Adrien Rabiot for turning up late to a team meeting.
“For me, that is something between the manager and the two players. But it is clear that the club and the team are more important than a single player. We have a lot of quality in our team. Today, we made two changes and we won. But it is clear that we need Adrien and Kylian for the coming match. Kylian has exceptional quality, which he showed again today. It is the coach who decides, we won, so he was right.”
