On September 5, Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out celebrated its mammoth 10-year anniversary in the city of Sydney. The one-day-only event, which proved to be the biggest and best yet, captivated the masses across the Pitt Street Malland the surrounding CBD.
With countless exclusive offers from over 600 participating retailers — including must-have discounts, special gifts and in-store activations to experience — there was no shortage of fun to be had at the event which concurrently kicked off Vogue’s 60th birthday celebrations.
On the big day, musicians Cxloe and Thandi Phoenix took to the stage to perform, and Vogue editor-in-chief Edwina McCann launched the highly-anticipated event alongside Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore, David Jones ambassador Jessica Gomes, VogueVIP special guest Maddison Brown, and American Express’s Naysla Edwards.
Vogue beauty editor Remy Rippon also took part a Q&A with Maxfactor make-up artist and ambassador Liz Kelsh, Vogue insiders Roberta Pecoraro, Brooke Testoni, Matilda Dods, Isabelle Mathers, and Petra Mackova mingled with guests, and the Vogue Dance crew and DJ entertained attendees.
The event — which featured a Vogue Spin-to-Win Wheel and gumball machine — also welcomed Sydney’s first-ever Vogue VIP Members’ Lounge, which handed out personalised gift-filled tote bags from The Daily Edited, and served New York City-inspired food from Woofys, Mo Sisters wine, and Seedlip non-alcoholic MartiNO cocktails.
Throughout the course of the day, shoppers browse the iconic range of boots and leather goods at the R.M.Williams Hut, enjoyed the Gucci Memoire photo booth experience, made the most of all David Jones had to offer, and visited QT Sydney for VAEFNO-inspired cocktails. The luxe American Express Lounge also proved a crowd favourite, as guests relaxed and refueled with bagels and Mumm Champagne.
