As noted, a majority of the Smackdown roster will be backstage for tonight’s WWE Superstar Shakeup on Raw, as the Blue Brand does not have a live event scheduled for tonight, leaving talents who move to Raw tonight open to appear on the show.
The WrestleVotes Twitter account is also reporting another name currently in Hartford, the host city for Raw tonight, is former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre. No word on if WWE plans to use him on Raw tonight, but he was not used at NXT Takeover New Orleans or the subsequent NXT TV tapings at Full Sail:
Interesting Monday Night Raw tonight. A majority of the Smackdown roster will be in town, including some surprises. NXT star Drew McIntyre is in Hartford. No idea if he’s getting the call up or not. Personally, I’d throw him on the Smackdown brand but we’ll see.

As we noted over WrestleMania weekend, McIntyre was in town for the weekend events, and spoke with Inside the Ropes. During the interview, McIntyre said he has been working very hard to make his comeback to the ring from injury. McIntyre said that initial timetables did not have him returning from injury for at six months, however, he has been doing the “John Cena” recovery work and dedicated himself, doing two rehabs a day, in hopes of a sooner ring return. McIntyre finished by saying he is set to meet with doctors this weekend to have his injury status evaluated.
