Japanese women’s wrestling promotion STARDOM has announced a partnership with Tokyo developer Spike Chunsoft to bring several of their top stars to the popular Fire Pro Wrestling World video game. Ten wrestlers, including stand-out joshi Mayu Iwatani, will be released as DLC for the game on August 22nd for both PS4 and Steam PC.
Fire Pro Wrestling World was officially released in late 2017 on PC after a long period in open BETA testing, before dropping on PS4 one year later. The game already has a partnership with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, who heavily promoted its release. The well-received NJPW DLC featured officially licensed wrestlers, titles and even its own Story Mode and Promoter Mode.
