BREAKING: Pac vs. Hangman Page Pulled From AEW ‘Double or Nothing’

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the match between Pac and Hangman Page has been removed from AEW’s upcoming Double or Nothing event on May 25 due to creative differences.

An angle between Pac and Page took place at the WrestleGate show in England on May 18 and it was apparently done to give fans the match they won’t get at Double or Nothing. Pac is  working for Dragon Gate and is the current Open the Dream Gate champion. He’s been very protective of his title reign thus far and has lost no matches since winning the championship in December of 2018.

It seems that he was perhaps booked to lose to Page on May 25, though that has not been confirmed. AEW plans to release the match between Pac and Page online, so fans will get a chance to see it.

Hangman Page will still appear at Double or Nothing, but his new opponent has yet to be announced. Pac could eventually face Page in an AEW ring at some point, but it’s unknown when that will happen.
