Beyoncé and Jay-Z Dropped a Surprise Album—Here’s a Teaser

And just like that, Queen Bey is once again the pop world’s reigning monarch.

On Saturday, while we were busy recovering from one too many glasses of rosé consumed while binging the new season of Netflix’s Queer Eye, Beyoncé caught us by surprise with a series of Instagram posts that revealed she and Jay-Z collaborated on an album together called Everything Is Love.

After completing the Manchester stop of their joint On the Run II tour, the duo dropped their new project exclusively on Tidal—but you’ll need a membership to listen.

Lucky for us, they teased one video for the song “APES**T,” now available on YouTube. In it, the couple appear in matching pastel suits in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Does it really get any better than that? Additionally, Bey appears in Burberry, Versace, and MCM looks as she poses with models and dances throughout the iconic art institution.

It’ll take us a moment to compose ourselves and decipher all of the hidden meanings in the video, but for now, just sit back, and enjoy.
