Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out has finally returned to Sydney, and given that it just so happens to be the annual shopping event’s 10th anniversary in the fashion-forward city, we can guarantee it’s going to be the best one yet.
Prepare to shop exclusive discounts across countless retailers, redeem must-have offers, experience a variety of in-store activations, and enjoy must-see live performances – all from 10am to 10pm on September 5.
Thankfully, with so much to see, do, and shop, we’ve done the hard work for you and put together the ultimate VAEFNO itinerary, in order to ensure you don’t miss a thing. So, to make the most of all the event has to offer, start planning your fashion-filled day out now.
10:00am: let the shopping begin! Start making the most of the exclusive offers and must-have discounts across countless participating retailers throughout the Sydney CBD.
11:00am: be sure to pick up your Bassike x Vogue VAEFNO T-shirt, which will be available for a limited time in store and online at Bassike and David Jones, before the event officially kicks off.
12:00pm: head to the Vogue stage to celebrate the 10th anniversary of VAEFNO in Sydney with Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann and the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore. The official launch moment is one you won’t want to miss!
2:00pm: as you make your way through Sydney’s CBD dressed in your best New York street party-themed outfits, keep an eye out for Vogue’s street style photographer for the chance to feature on Vogue.com.au.
3:30pm: keen to know more about all that’s on offer this VAEFNO? Visit the Vogue balloons in Pitt Street Mall to track down members of the Vogue team who can brush you up on all you need to know.

4:30pm: rejoin Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann and the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore, for the twilight launch of VAEFNO, followed by a must see performance by Cxloe.
5:00pm: visit Pitt Street Mall for the highly-anticipated launch of Sydney’s first-ever Vogue VIP Members’ Lounge. Vogue subscribers who pre-register to attend and those who subscribe to Vogue VIP on the night will have exclusive access to live musical performances, entertainment via the Vogue DJ, and the chance to see Vogue dance crews take to the stage throughout the evening.
6:00pm: relax and unwind at the American Express Lounge in Pitt Street Mall, and treat yourself to all the sweets and beverages on offer.
6:30pm: step up to Vogue’s Spin-to-Win Wheel to walk away with a special gift! If you’ve spent $100 or more at VAEFNO, have your receipts verified by the Vogue team and try your luck on the day.
7:15pm: visit the Vogue photo booth where you can pose for a picture by the Instagrammable balloon wall before sharing on social media using the new VAEFNO GIFs!
7:30pm: be sure to visit the gumball machine inside David Jones to redeem exclusive discounts, gifts and vouchers from the department store.
8:00pm: return to the Vogue stage to see Australian musician Thandi Phoenix close the 10th anniversary event with a few of her most-loved tracks.
8:30pm: stop by the R.M.Williams Hut to ensure you make the most of exclusive offers on the brand’s iconic boots and leather goods.
