The show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us to tonight’s Mixed Match Challenge Finals. He is joined by Corey Graves & WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode make their way down to the ring first. As they make their entrances, their charity is being shown.
Asuka & Intercontinental Champion The Miz make their way down to the ring next. As they make their entrances, their charity is also being shown.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Asuka vs. Bobby Roode & SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair: The Miz starts off with Roode who gets the “glorious” taunt going right off the bat. The Miz returns fire with his “When my hands goes up, you’re mouth goes shut” taunt. Everyone starts doing their taunts and Asuka gets fed up and starts yelling in Japanese. Charlotte and Roode chops The Miz, who backs off and tags in Asuka. Pretty even collar and elbow tie up that takes them out of the ring. They finally separate and yell at each other. Both hop in the ring, but The Miz tags himself back in, which the crowd boos. Roode charges in and goes to work on The Miz. The Miz is able to recover and he drops Roode as he calls to Charlotte and nearly locks in the figure-four. The Miz does some stylin’ and profilin’ as Roode charges and drops him. Charlotte and Asuka are back in and Asuka lands some big kicks. Asuka with a hip attack, then she goes for a cover, but only a two count. Asuka goes for a second hip attack, but Charlotte catches her. Asuka with a cover, but only a two count. Charlotte with some big chops. Charlotte hits a belly to back suplex on Asuka. Charlotte heads to the top rope and hits a moonsault, but Asuka kicks out. Charlotte tries for the figure-four and Asuka kicks her away. The Miz leans in and mocks her. Charlotte tries for a slap, but The Miz moves and Asuka strikes from behind.
Roode and The Miz are back in the ring. Roode hits a neck-breaker and heads up to the top. Roode hits a flying clothesline and attempts a glorious DDT, but The Miz reverses it into a skull-crushing finale attempt, but it gets denied. The Miz then kicks Roode in the mug. The Miz with a bunch of it kicks, but Roode drops The Miz and goes for a cover, but only a two count. The Miz tries to tag out, but Asuka is still on the floor on the outside. The Miz hits a DDT and goes for a cover, but only a two count. The Miz tries for a figure-four, but it gets denied. The Miz finally looks to get it and Roode rolls him up for a two count. The Miz then tries yet again and Charlotte hits a spear. She then locks in the figure-four on The Miz. Asuka flies in with a low dropkick to clear out Charlotte. Roode with a spine-buster and goes for a cover, but only a two count. Roode tries for a glorious DDT, but Asuka clocks Roode from behind and then baseball slides into Charlotte. After the match, Renee Young interviews The Miz and Asuka. The Miz says that this is the best week after the birth of his daughter and raising money for their charity, Rescue Dogs Rock. The Miz also says that he is going on to defend the IC title at WrestleMania. Asuka then says that she will become the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania. The Miz and Asuka continues to celebrate as Mixed Match Challenge goes off the air.
