CLEVELAND, Ohio – North Dakota State 157-pounder Clay Ream and 165 Andrew Fogarty both lost their first matches in the consolation bracket to end the Bison stay at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships before a Session III crowd of 18,680 on Friday, March 16 in Quicken Loans Arena.

Ream, a redshirt senior from Wentzville, Mo., lost a 12-1 major decision to Duke No. 12-seed Mitch Finesilver. Ream ends the season with a 24-6 record and went 4-8 in four NCAA tournament appearances. He completes his career ranked No. 20 on the NDSU win list with 95.
Fogarty, a sophomore from Jordan, Minn., dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 16-seed Jonathon Cruz of Cornell. Fogarty ends the season with a 30-12 record and has compiled a 2-4 record in two NCAA appearances.
