On August 23, David Jones unveiled the highly-anticipated renovation of its third level, the International and Australian Designer Womenswear floor, located within the department store’s Elizabeth Street flagship.
While it is the fifth floor in the Elizabeth Street store to be unveiled as part of David Jones’s $200 million redevelopment, there is no doubt that level three is one of the 12-floor flagship store’s best. Complete with bespoke store-in-store concepts featuring the likes of Aje, Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Camilla and Zimmermann, the 3,500sqm International and Australian Designer Womenswear floor also boasts an expertly curated range of world-renowned labels.
“The opening of level three International and Australian Designer Womenswear today is an incredibly exciting milestone in the redevelopment of our Elizabeth Street flagship,” says Bridget Veals, David Jones general manager of womenswear and accessories.
“Level three is now home to the best and most coveted brands in the world, including 65 new brands brought exclusively to our customers in a truly exceptional shopping environment in the heart of Sydney,” adds Veals.
The 65 new labels include the likes of Toni Maticevski, Balmain, Roksanda, Johanna Ortiz, Tibi, Ganni, Carolina Herrera and J.W. Anderson. When shopping from high-fashion houses such as Versace, Jacquemus, and Proenza Schouler, you’ll also be given the opportunity to make the most of David Jones’s new Personal Styling Suite.
“A crucial focus for level three has been the development of an updated, highly curated brand offering for our customers,” explains Veals. “We believe Elizabeth Street’s womenswear offering is a shopping experience that has never been seen before in this country. Coupled with exceptional, multilingual service at every touchpoint we are thrilled to be sharing this with our customers today both instore and online,” she adds.
