LAS VEGAS, NV — Hollywood’s biggest stars are making their rounds for CinemaCon 2019. Hosted at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) gives fans a sneak peek at some of the year’s most anticipated films.
While it’s not uncommon for studios to boast sizzle reels, this season’s convention was a bit different coming soon after Disney’s historical acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight and Blue Sky Studios.
For the first time, the likes of “Avatar,” ”Deadpool,” ”Toy Story” and “The Avengers” all made their way into the same montage, as Alan Horn, chairman of Walt Disney Studios, assured the audience that “together we will be more than the sum of our parts.”
An abundance of A-listers like Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan to Helen Mirren and Halle Berry, were all on-hand to tease future projects and converse with fans.
