You might be holding your breath for the official Downton Abbey movie to hit this September, but in the meantime we’ve been granted yet another gift from the showrunners behind the cult series.

Last year Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes brought us , which is still yet to air, and now, another show is underway, titled .

Belgravia is a miniseries set in 1840s London and named after Fellowes’s 2016 book. As per Deadline, the show “is set in the 19th Century, when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche.” The story focuses on a ball set the night before the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, which, 25 years later, is still a source of secrecy and conflict for two wealthy families in England.

Belgravia will star Alice Eve and Philip Glenister, and will have all of the drama we’ve come to love about Downton Abbey, as well as those incredible period costumes. ITV and Epix released a first look at the show overnight, which you can see here.

The show is being written by Fellowes, who is essentially adapting his novel, with John Alexander on board to direct.

The news comes after Fellowes worked on The Gilded Age, a show centred on rich families in the late 19th century as they navigate their lives in New York. There’s no air date for The Gilded Age just yet, but it’s set to air on HBO this year too, in a ten-episode first season.

At this stage, there’s also no air date for Belgravia, and it’s yet to be determined whether we’ll be able to watch it here in Australia.

Watch this space and in the meantime, mark your diary for September 20, when we’re all headed back to Downton Abbey.
