The annual CFDA Fashion Awards, rivalling the Met Gala as one of the industry’s favourite nights, is here and the red carpet did not disappoint. Hosted by comedians Hasan Minhaj and Jessica Williams, the evening welcomed a slew of A-listers, models and designers to New York’s Brooklyn Museum in celebration of fashion’s most notable names.
As Tom Ford marks his first year as Council of Fashion Designers of America chairman, the association recognises Jennifer Lopez with the Fashion Icon Award, costume designer Bob Mackie with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and Barbie with the Board of Directors Tribute Award.

Prior to accepting the prestigious honour, Lopez walked the red carpet with fiancé Alex Rodriguez, her abs on full display in a bright orange Ralph Lauren two-piece, complete with a cascading train. The likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Shailene Woodley, Ciara, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (above) and a parade of Victoria’s Secret models also made an appearance on the evening, recognising the mark made by a series of CFDA nominees, the likes of which include Marc Jacobs, Rosie Assoulin, Virgil Abloh, and Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
