As confirmed by People, the actress—who reportedly selected a Dior gown for her big day—and her now-husband recited their vows in front of over 150 of their guests on Saturday, October 19, the roll call of attendees reading like the guest list of a prime time awards ceremony.
And although both the bride and groom had managed to spend their whole wedding weekend away from the eyes of paparazzi, many celebrities in attendance hadn’t managed to remain so covert.
Arriving at the seaside Rhode Island town of Newport the day before the wedding, guests including Kris Jenner and Sienna Miller, were each spotted at the Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina—where themselves and many other wedding guests were reportedly staying over the wedding weekend—with ET reporting that they were on their way to Lawrence and Maroney’s rehearsal dinner.
According to People, the bride and groom organised quite the pared back affair for their pre-wedding celebrations, inviting their guests to a clambake under the cover of a white tent on the private Rose Island.
The following day saw even more celebrity spottings, their notable nearest and dearest—including Jenner accompanied by her long-time boyfriend, Cory Gamble, Emma Stone, Miller with her partner Lucas Zwirner, Ashley Olsen and her artist boyfriend Louis Eisner, Adele, Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz with their husbands, Joel and Benji Madden—slipped out of their warm autumnal wares in favour of runway-pulled pieces, stepping out to witness the couple say their ‘I do’s’ at the Belcourt of Newport estate.
