Robert Beric has left Saint Étienne and will join up with Belgian side Anderlecht on a season-long-loan deal without an option to buy.
The 26-year-old forward joined Les Verts in 2015 from Rapid Vienna for just over €5m, but various injuries prevented him from making a huge impact up front for the club. Despite his constant knee problems, Beric did manage to make 45 appearances for ASSE, scoring 14 goals overall, with nine of those strikes coming in Ligue 1.
The Slovenian striker joins Anderlecht in the UEFA Champions League where they will play Bayern Munich, Celtic and Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain. The club wishes Beric well on his move to Belgium.
