As reported by RMC last night, PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, as a possible swap deal with Keylor Navas begins to take shape.
The 26-year-old Frenchman is now set to move to Madrid this weekend, where he is set to spend next season on loan with Los Blancos, with Keylor Navas coming the other way. There remain details for PSG and Real Madrid to hash out this morning, but both clubs are confident of a successful conclusion of negotiations.
Areola had initially not counted on leaving Paris this summer, but the French international has been given reason to – PSG have spent the window looking for a new #1 and he is well aware of that.
