WWE Raw Women’s champion Ronda Rousey faced off against Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series on Sunday, November 18. Flair proved to be Rousey’s toughest test to date. The Baddest Woman on the Planet left the match bloodied, bruised and battered.

Though Rousey has proved her mettle in the ring, there are many fans that feel she should not be the champ. Former ECW champion and WWE Superstar Taz evidently agrees with that sentiment.
Taz talked about Rousey as the Raw Women’s champion during a recent episode of his podcast.
“Do I think she should be the champion? Absolutely not. She should not be the WWE Raw Women’s champion, no. I believe you have to earn that. Okay? I believe in; you put a title, you put a championship on somebody when they need that championship or that championship needs them. With this Raw Women’s title and the SmackDown Women’s title, both of those women’s titles? Those titles are made, guys. They don’t need a talent to make those titles. Ronda Rousey doesn’t need a title to make her. She can go her whole career without a frickin’ championship and no one’s ever gonna doubt her credibility. She don’t need a title.”
Taz went on to explain why holding the title isn’t exactly helping Ronda or the title itself.
“So you got a title on someone that you can’t get it off of her! That’s the problem! How are you gonna beat her? So now you had Charlotte get disqualified and go berserk and beat the living holy high h*** out of her with a Singapore cane and a chair around her throat. You can’t beat this girl, Ronda Rousey. So why put the title on her? Why?”
Taz spoke highly of Rousey, complimenting her on her how quickly she adapted to the business. He also said he was impressed with her selling, which was something he felt he never mastered during his career.
Ronda continues to have words on social media with the current SmackDown Women’s champion, Becky Lynch. The two were booked for Survivor Series but Lynch was pulled due to an injury sustained during the November 13 edition of SmackDown Live.
