Wednesday’s new episode of AEW Dynamite featured a somewhat controversial decision, as Jon Moxley and PAC’s main event match went to a time-limit draw just seconds before the show went off the air.
The recently stripped IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion was clearly not happy with the outcome of his deeply physical bout, and took out his aggressions by attacking referee Paul Turner.
All Elite Wrestling issued the following statement via Twitter:
“AEW officials have reprimanded Jon Moxley for an unprovoked attack on referee Paul Turner, as this is not the first time Moxley has attacked the Senior Official. Moxley has been warned that another violation of AEW’s sportsmanship policy could result in a fine and/or suspension.”
