At the WWE SmackDown and Main Event television tapings tonight in Houston Texas, it was announced that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will indeed require an additional surgery.
The news was reportedly announced during a Big Show promo segment, where Show revealed the Bryan will be undergoing surgery on his right arm.
Bryan was originally scheduled to undergo a second operation in August of this year, however just a few days before the surgery, doctors informed Bryan that it might not be necessary and that he may be able to recover by simply rehabbing the arm.
The word going around a few weeks ago was that the strength had still not come back to Bryan’s arm and that surgery was expected as a result, however this is the first time that it has been publicly acknowledged.
As of right now, there is no timetable in regards to when Daniel Bryan will return to WWE now that he will be undergoing an additional surgery.
