On Sunday night, “The Viper” once again captured WWE Championship gold.
Longtime WWE veteran Randy Orton defeated former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt to once again become WWE Champion and the top dog of the SmackDown Live brand.
Orton struggled to find a way to put away Wyatt for the 1-2-3- count, however when “The Eater of Worlds” also failed to score a three count on Orton, leading to a frustrated Wyatt trying a second attempt at putting him away with his Sister Abigail finisher, an “RKO out of nowhere” from “The Viper” secured the victory.
With the win, Orton is now a nine-time WWE Champion. Additionally, “The Viper” has four past World Championship reigns to speak of.
