— Former WWE wrestler Alberto El Patron (aka Alberto Del Rio) released another Periscope video and indicated that he has been contacted by WWE about a possible return, but that he doesn’t plan on “ever, ever, ever” going back. He claims that he is very happy being out of WWE and that he quit despite the company doing “everything to try and keep me.”
— Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff spoke to the Baltimore Sun and commented on the recent rumors of WWE buying out ROH. He insisted it was a non-story and that people want to make a story when none exists. Koff did not deny that he has spoken to other promotions about prospective deals, but said that the WWE rumors likely started after conversations about content for the Kevin Owens DVD.
